My inspiration for the artworks was taken from the maps of trenches in WW1 in France with the barbed wires that were intent to divide and harm the opponent. My paintings reflect the site maps and how we are all interconnected with the copper wires with the landscape and how humanity is entangled and where wires are crossed can become entangled in conflict and war.
